CEDAR CREEK (NAVARRO COUNTY)
CEDAR CREEK (Navarro County). Cedar Creek rises a mile east of Mildred in central Navarro County (at 32°03' N, 96°23' W) and runs east ten miles to its mouth on Richland Creek Reservoir, a mile east of the Eureka Church (at 32°02' N, 96°16' W). Before the reservoir was built in the 1980s the creek ran into Chambers Creek (at 32°03' N, 96°14' W). Cedar Creek traverses an area of low-rolling hills and prairies, surfaced by clay and sandy loams that support grasses and mesquite.
