CHUCARETO CREEK. Chucareto Creek rises a mile northwest of Encinal in southwestern La Salle County (at 28°03' N, 99°23' W) and runs northeast fourteen miles to its mouth on Caiman Creek, twelve miles northeast of Encinal (at 28°09' N, 99°10' W). The surrounding low rolling terrain is surfaced by clay and sandy loam that supports grass, mesquite, and chaparral.
