COPPERAS CREEK (CALDWELL COUNTY)
COPPERAS CREEK (Caldwell County). Copperas Creek rises four miles southeast of Tilmon in southeastern Caldwell County (at 29°43' N, 97°31' W) and runs northwest for six miles to its mouth on Plum Creek, three miles southeast of Brownsboro (at 29°45' N, 97°35' W). The surrounding rolling prairie is surfaced by shallow clay loams that support mesquite, mixed hardwoods, and grasses.
