COTTONWOOD CREEK (Guadalupe County). Cottonwood Creek rises five miles east of New Berlin in southern Guadalupe County (at 29°27' N, 98°01' W) and runs northeast for nine miles to its mouth on the Guadalupe River, four miles southeast of Seguin (at 29°32' N, 97°56' W). The creek traverses rolling prairie surfaced by clay loams that support mesquite and grasses.
