CROCKETT CREEK. Crockett Creek rises three miles east of Stephenville in central Erath County (at 32°12' N, 98°07' W) and runs northeast for six miles to its mouth on Indian Camp Creek (at 32°17' N, 98°05' W). The surrounding land is flat to rolling, with local escarpments and a surface of deep, fine sandy loam that supports post oak and various short grasses.
