COW CREEK (COKE COUNTY)

COW CREEK (Coke County). Cow Creek rises near Ross Cemetery two miles north of Jones Peak in northeastern Coke County (at 32°01' N, 100°20' W) and runs north for two miles to its mouth on Bouzier Creek, three miles south of Blackwell (at 32°03' N, 100°20' W). The creek traverses terrain with moderately steep slopes and locally high relief, surfaced by shallow to moderately deep silt loam soils that support mesquite and grasses.
