CAMP CREEK (YOUNG COUNTY)
CAMP CREEK (Young County). Camp Creek rises one mile west of the Olney Municipal Airport in northwest Young County (at 33°21' N, 98°50' W) and runs west for ten miles to its mouth on the Brazos River, just east of the Throckmorton county line (at 33°19' N, 98°57' W). It crosses rolling hills surfaced by clay and sandy loams that support water-resistant hardwoods and grasses.
