CONQUISTA CREEK. Conquista Creek rises just east of Fashing oilfield in western Karnes County (at 28°53' N, 98°07' W) and flows northeast for ten miles to its mouth on the San Antonio River, three miles southwest of Falls City (at 28°57' N, 98°03' W). It traverses flat to rolling terrain surfaced by clay and sandy loam that supports water-tolerant hardwoods and grasses.
