DRY CREEK (SCHLEICHER COUNTY)
DRY CREEK (Schleicher County). Dry Creek rises eighteen miles northeast of Eldorado in northeastern Schleicher County (at 31°03' N, 100°22' W) and runs northwest for thirteen miles to its mouth on the South Concho River, three miles south of Christoval in Tom Green County (at 31°09' N, 100°30' W). It traverses an area of gentle to moderately steep slopes, surfaced by shallow stony soil that supports scrub brush, sparse grasses, and cacti.
