ELM CREEK (LA SALLE COUNTY)
ELM CREEK (La Salle County). Elm Creek rises 8½ miles southwest of Fowlerton in eastern La Salle County (at 28°20'N,98°49'W) and flows northeast for 6½ miles to its mouth on Galinda Creek (at 28°24'N, 98°45'W) about twelve miles southwest of Tilden in west central McMullen County. The creek traverses rolling to flat terrain surfaced by clay and sandy loams that support brush and grasses in its upper reaches and water-tolerant hardwoods and various grasses in its lower reaches.
