GLADE CREEK (Upshur County). Glade Creek rises two miles north of Little Mound in western Upshur County (at 32°45' N, 95°09' W) and runs south for nine miles to its mouth on Big Sandy Creek, two miles southwest of Pleasant Grove (at 32°38' N, 95°09' W). It traverses flat to rolling terrain surfaced by clay and sandy loams that support water-tolerant hardwoods, conifers, and grasses.
