HAY CREEK. Hay Creek rises west of Trickham in southeastern Coleman County (at 31°43' N, 99°18' W) and runs southeast for about twelve miles to its mouth on Mukewater Creek (at 31°33' N, 99°14' W). The creek traverses locally flat terrain surrounded by rolling hills. The area soils are clayey and sandy loams and support grasses and water-tolerant hardwoods and conifers.
