HICKMAN CREEK (POLK COUNTY)
HICKMAN CREEK (Polk County). Hickman Creek rises five miles southeast of Moscow in central Polk County (at 30°52' N, 94°45' W) and runs southeast for 8½ miles to its mouth on Bear Creek, five miles northwest of Indian Village (at 30°47' N, 94°43' W). The stream rises in low, rolling hills and prairies, then crosses flat terrain with local shallow depressions. The local clayey, sandy loam soils support pine forests with some grasses.
