HOG CREEK (SHACKELFORD COUNTY)
HOG CREEK (Shackelford County). Hog Creek rises fifteen miles west of Albany in extreme western Shackelford County (at 32°46' N, 99°32' W) and runs six miles northwest to its mouth on the Clear Fork of the Brazos River (at 32°49' N, 99°35' W). The stream runs through an area of resistant ledges and low cuestas where live oak, juniper, and grasses grow in shallow, stony, sandy loams.
