HONEY CREEK (Burnet County). Honey Creek rises six miles southwest of Burnet in west central Burnet County (at 30°43' N, 98°18' W) and runs southeast for seven miles to its mouth on Hamilton Creek, seven miles northeast of Marble Falls (at 30°41' N, 98°15' W). It traverses generally flat terrain with local deep dissections, surfaced by shallow, stony soil that supports oak, juniper, and mesquite.
