HOWARD CREEK (Bowie County). Howard Creek rises a mile south of Nash in eastern Bowie County (at 33°26' N, 94°08' W) and runs southeast for six miles to its mouth on Days Creek, just south of Texarkana (at 33°23' N, 94°03' W). Although the banks of the creek are heavily wooded in some areas, most of the land around it has been developed for residential or commercial use.
