HURRICANE CREEK (NEWTON COUNTY)
HURRICANE CREEK (Newton County). Hurricane Creek rises in north central Newton County just south of the Sabine county line (at 31°09' N, 93°49' W) and runs north for three miles to its mouth on Big Sandy Creek, in southern Sabine County (at 31°11' N, 93°49' W). The area through which the creek flows lies mostly within Sabine National Forest.
