INDIAN CREEK (BROWN COUNTY)
INDIAN CREEK (Brown County). Indian Creek rises two miles west of the Camp Bowie Military Reservation in southern Brown County (at 31°37' N, 98°59' W) and runs south ten miles to its mouth on the Colorado River and the San Saba county line, three miles southwest of Indian Creek community (at 31°29' N, 99°00' W). The local terrain is flat and has an elevation of 1,290 to 1,350 feet above sea level; it is surfaced by deep loam that supports various grasses and vine mesquite.
