LAKE CREEK (WILLIAMSON COUNTY)
LAKE CREEK (Williamson County). Lake Creek rises in the north edge of north Austin in southwestern Williamson County at a point (30°28' N, 97°49' W) and runs northeast for fourteen miles to its mouth on Brushy Creek, on the east side of Round Rock (at 30°31' N, 97°39' W). The creek has been dammed just east of Pond Springs to form Ganzert Lake. Lake Creek passes through nearly flat to gently undulating terrain, much of which has been heavily developed for commercial and residential purposes.
