LITTLE MOUNTAIN CREEK
LITTLE MOUNTAIN CREEK. Little Mountain Creek rises just north of Priddy in north central Mills County (at 31°41' N, 98°32' W) and runs north for eight miles to its confluence with Big Mountain Creek east of Newburg and north of Farm Road 2561 in south central Comanche County (at 31°46' N, 98°29' W). The creek runs through flat terrain with local shallow depressions, where water-tolerant hardwoods, conifers and grasses grow in clay and sandy loam soils.
