LITTLE WALNUT CREEK. Little Walnut Creek rises in northeast Austin in northern Travis County (at 30°23' N, 97°43' W) and runs southeast for 7½ miles, through various business and residential areas, to its mouth (at 30°18' N, 97°40' W) on Walnut Creek in east Austin. The terrain is rolling with local steep slopes; clay loams support juniper, oak, and grasses.
