LIVE OAK CREEK (COMANCHE COUNTY)
LIVE OAK CREEK (Comanche County). Live Oak Creek rises in southern Comanche County (at 31°44' N, 98°23' W) just north of Farm Road 1702 and flows northwest for seven miles to its mouth (at 31°49' N, 98°25' W) on the South Leon River. The local terrain of steep slopes and benches is surfaced by clay loams and shallow sands that support juniper, live oak, scattered oak, and grasses.
