LIVE OAK CREEK (DEWITT COUNTY)
LIVE OAK CREEK (DeWitt County). Live Oak Creek rises in northeastern DeWitt County (at 29°14' N, 97°17' W) a mile southeast of Concrete and runs west for three miles to its mouth (at 29°14' N, 97°18' W) on McCoy Creek, a mile southwest of Concrete. It traverses flat to rolling terrain, surfaced by moderately permeable soil that supports hardwoods and grasses.
