LIVEOAK CREEK (UVALDE COUNTY)
LIVEOAK CREEK (Uvalde County). Liveoak Creek rises (at 29°06' N, 99°35' W) in southeastern Uvalde County sixteen miles southeast of Uvalde and runs southeast for twenty-seven miles to its mouth (at 28°51' N, 99°26' W) on the Leona River in Zavala County. It traverses flat terrain with locally shallow depressions, surfaced by expansive clays that support water-tolerant hardwoods, conifers, and various grasses.
