LONG BRANCH (Cooke County). Long Branch rises six miles southwest of Sivells Bend in north central Cooke County (at 33°49' N, 97°16' W) and runs southeast for three miles into North Fish Creek at its mouth on Hubert H. Moss Lake west of Farm Road 1201 (at 33°47' N, 97°15' W). The stream traverses flat to rolling terrain surfaced by deep, fine, sandy loam soils that support hardwood forest, brush, and grasses.
