LOST CREEK (Edwards County). Lost Creek rises three miles west of Kelly Peak in southeastern Edwards County (at 29°39' N, 100°08' W) and runs west ten miles to its mouth on Sycamore Creek, in north central Kinney County (at 29°37' N, 100°14' W). It traverses flat terrain with local deep and dense dissection, surfaced by shallow, stony soils that support oak, juniper, and mesquite.
