LOST CREEK (Erath County). Lost Creek rises (at 32°22' N, 98°18' W) in northern Erath County two miles north of Huckabay and runs north ten miles to its mouth (at 32°31' N, 98°15' W) on Big Sunday Creek, just over the Palo Pinto county line. The local terrain of steep to moderately sloping hills is surfaced by stony, shallow, sandy loams that support mesquite and some short grasses.
