LOST CREEK (HOUSTON COUNTY)
LOST CREEK (Houston County). Lost Creek rises one mile northwest of Pearsons Chapel in southwestern Houston County (at 31°10' N, 95°33' W) and flows southwest for eight miles to its mouth on the Trinity River, near the Fort Bend oilfield (at 31°06' N, 95°39' W). The surrounding flat terrain is surfaced by clay and sandy loam that supports water-tolerant hardwoods, conifers, and grasses.
