LOWER FOURMILE DRAW
LOWER FOURMILE DRAW. Lower Fourmile Draw extends from its source near Farm Road 2886 in eastern Pecos County (at 30°41' N, 102°13' W) northeast for twenty-two miles to its mouth on Fourmile Draw, near Interstate Highway 10 (at 30°45' N, 101°56' W). Farm Road 2886 crosses Fourmile Draw north of the Pecos-Terrell county line, and Interstate Highway 10 crosses it northwest of Sheffield. Lower Fourmile Draw runs through flat terrain with local deep and dense dissection. Area vegetation consists primarily of oak, juniper, and some mesquite in shallow and stony soils.
