LITTLE CREEK (BURNET COUNTY)
LITTLE CREEK (Burnet County). Little Creek rises six miles south of Bertram in southeast Burnet County (at 30°38' N, 98°03' W) and runs northeast for nine miles, through southeastern Burnet and southwestern Williamson counties, to its mouth on the South San Gabriel River, just west of Liberty Hill (at 30°40' N, 97°56' W). The stream is intermittent in its upper reaches. The banks of the stream are heavily wooded in places with mesquite, oak, and juniper trees, and the creek flows through gently sloping terrain surfaced by loamy and clayey soils used predominantly for agriculture.
