LOS CORTES CREEK
LOS CORTES CREEK. Los Cortes Creek rises a mile south of Three Oaks in southern Wilson County (at 28°58' N, 98°10' W) and runs southwest for eleven miles to its mouth on Borrego Creek, ten miles northeast of Campbellton in eastern Atascosa County (at 28°52' N, 98°15' W). The creek traverses flat to rolling terrain surfaced by clay and sandy loams that support water-tolerant hardwoods and grasses.
