MAVERICK CREEK. Maverick Creek rises five miles north of Eden in central Concho County (at 31°18' N, 99°50' W) and flows 9½ miles southeast before joining Brady Creek eight miles east of Eden (at 31°14' N, 99°43' W). The intermittent stream crosses flat to rolling terrain where sandy and clay loams support grasses, oaks, junipers, and mesquite.
