MILL CREEK (PANOLA COUNTY)
MILL CREEK (Panola County). Mill Creek rises in Caddo Parish, Louisiana, just east of the Texas-Louisiana state line (at 32°19' N, 94°01' W) and runs southwest for thirteen miles, through eastern Panola County, to its mouth on Socogee Creek, three miles northwest of Galloway (at 32°04' N, 94°07' W). The stream is intermittent in its upper reaches. Flat terrain in the area is surfaced by clay and sandy loam that supports water-tolerant hardwoods, conifers, and grasses.
