MONIA CREEK. Monia Creek rises in Union County, New Mexico (at 35°54' N, 103°21' W), and runs southeast for thirty miles to its mouth on Punta de Agua Creek, three miles north of Romero in southwestern Hartley County (at 35°47' N, 102°55' W).
