MUCORRERA CREEK. Mucorrera Creek rises just north of Goliad Naval Auxiliary Landing Field in western Goliad County (at 28°37' N, 97°37' W) and runs southeast for sixteen miles to its mouth on the Blanco River, eight miles southeast of Berclair (at 28°26' N, 97°30' W). It traverses flat to rolling terrain surfaced by clay and sandy loams that support water-tolerant hardwoods and grasses.
