MULBERRY CREEK (LAMAR COUNTY)
MULBERRY CREEK (Lamar County). Mulberry Creek rises in eastern Lamar County (at 33°40' N, 95°27' W), just southeast of Reno and north of Cox Airport, and runs southeast, then south, for thirteen miles to its mouth (at 33°31' N, 95°25' W) on Little Sandy Creek, just southeast of Clardy. The stream, which is intermittent in its upper reaches, traverses flat to gently rolling terrain, surfaced by dark clay and deep loams over clay that support grasses and some water-tolerant hardwoods and conifers.
