PATRICK CREEK. Patrick Creek rises four miles west of Weatherford in central Parker County (at 32°47' N, 97°53' W) and flows south for 12½ miles to its mouth on the Brazos River, near Dennis (at 32°37' N, 97°55' W). It passes through gently undulating to steep terrain vegetated with mixed timberland and open prairie; soils are shallow to deep sand and clay. For most of the county's history the Patrick Creek area has been used for rangeland and mineral production.
