PECAN CREEK (BELL COUNTY)
PECAN CREEK (Bell County). Pecan Creek rises one mile southwest of Troy in northeastern Bell County (at 31°11' N, 97°19' W) and runs seven miles southeast to its mouth on Big Elm Creek, just west of Oenaville (at 31°07' N, 97°14' W). The creek flows through strongly sloping to level terrain surfaced by clayey soils used predominantly for agricultural purposes.
