POST OAK BRANCH
POST OAK BRANCH. Post Oak Branch rises just west of Farm Road 717 and northwest of Caddo in east central Stephens County (at 32°44' N, 98°41' W) and flows northwest for three miles to its mouth on Little Cedar Creek, a half mile north of U.S. Highway 180 and ten miles east of Breckenridge (at 32°45' N, 98°44' W). The stream flows through an area of steeply to moderately sloping hills where oak, mesquite, and grasses grow from shallow, stony clay and sandy loams.
