POST OAK CREEK (Bexar County). Post Oak Creek rises two miles east of Midway in southwestern Bexar County (at 29°18' N, 98°41' W) and runs southeast for five miles to its mouth on Elm Creek, two miles northeast of Somerset (at 29°15' N, 98°38' W). It traverses rolling terrain surfaced by clay loam that supports mesquite and grasses.
