PRAIRIE BRANCH (Cass County). Prairie Branch rises one-half mile southeast of Douglassville in northern Cass County (at 33°10' N, 94°20' W) and runs southeast for three miles to its mouth on Bee Creek (at 33°08' N, 94°18' W). The soils are loamy and sandy, and the gently undulating to gently rolling area is heavily wooded, with pines and various hardwoods predominating.
