PRICE CREEK (Collin County). Price Creek rises midway between Copeville and Josephine in southeastern Collin County (at 33°05' N, 96°22' W) and flows southwest for five miles. The stream flowed into Sister Grove Creek a mile southeast of Clear Lake until the early 1950s, when its course was diverted to empty into Lavon Lake (at 33°04' N, 96°25' W). The intermittent stream runs through a moderately to gently rolling land surface with clayey soils.
