PIN OAK CREEK (Milam County). Pin Oak Creek rises four miles northeast of Milano in eastern Milam County (at 30°44' N, 96°49' W) and runs north for ten miles to its mouth on the Little River, three miles northwest of Gause (at 30°49' N, 96°45' W). The surrounding terrain is generally flat to rolling, with local escarpments and shallow depressions; clay and sandy loams support water-tolerant hardwoods, conifers, and grasses.
