PETERS CREEK (Goliad County). Peters Creek rises two miles south of Weesatche in northern Goliad County (at 28°49' N, 97°28' W) and runs southeast for seven miles to its mouth on Manahuilla Creek, five miles northwest of Goliad (at 28°45' N, 97°26' W). It traverses flat to rolling terrain surfaced by clay and sandy loams that support water-tolerant hardwoods and grasses.
