QUINLAN CREEK. Quinlan Creek rises four miles northeast of Kerrville in northeastern Kerr County (at 30°06' N, 99°04' W) and runs southwest for six miles to its mouth on the Guadalupe River, near the southwestern edge of the Kerrville city limits (at 30°01' N, 99°08' W). The creek passes steep slopes and benches surfaced by shallow clay loams that support juniper, live oak, mesquite, and grasses.
