ROBERTSON BRANCH. Robertson Branch rises four miles east of Burnet in central Burnet County (at 30°45' N, 98°10' W) and runs north for 2½ miles to its mouth on Russell Fork San Gabriel River, five miles southwest of Shady Grove (at 30°47' N, 98°09' W). The surrounding flat terrain has local deep dissections and is surfaced by shallow and stony soil that supports oak, juniper, and mesquite.
