SAWYER BRANCH. Sawyer Branch rises four miles south of Dublin in southern Erath County (at 32°01' N, 98°18' W) and runs south three miles to its mouth on Resley Creek (at 32°00' N, 98°19' W). The branch is dammed in its lower reaches. Flat to rolling terrain in the area is surfaced by sandy and clay loams that support hardwoods, juniper, and oak.
