SPRING BRANCH (Harris County). Spring Branch rises near the intersection of Hammerly and Campbell roads in northwest Harris County (at 95°31' N, 29°47' W) and flows southeast for 3½ miles to its mouth on Buffalo Bayou (at 95°29' N, 29°46' W). The terrain is low-rolling to flat and surfaced by deep to shallow sandy and clay loam that supports mixed hardwoods and pines.
