SPRING CREEK (Gonzales County). Spring Creek rises 2½ miles southwest of Thompsonville in northeastern Gonzales County (at 29°38' N, 97°24' W) and runs east for four miles to its mouth on the Sandy Fork of Peach Creek (at 29°38' N, 97°20' W). The intermittent stream runs through flat to rolling prairie surfaced by fine loamy sand that supports mixed hardwoods and pines.
