SPRING CREEK (ROBERTSON COUNTY)
SPRING CREEK (Robertson County). Spring Creek rises five miles northwest of Wheelock in central Robertson County (at 30°56' N, 96°28' W) and runs south, then southwest, for fourteen miles to its mouth on the Little Brazos River, two miles northeast of Mumford (at 30°45' N, 96°31' W). It is intermittent in the upper reaches, but becomes continuous as it crosses slightly sloping to nearly level terrain surfaced by sandy loam that supports post oak and grass.
